I always believed in people's maturity and power to choose what was best for them. Above all, I believed they respected a good and loving person more than someone cruel or unreliable.
Life proves precisely the opposite. Those who make others suffer and behave selfishly are loved and adored, while people with good souls are considered foolish or naive.
Yet people continue wondering why they suffer so much. They fail to see that their values and desires are directed towards suffering rather than happiness. Happiness and peace bore them; suffering and uncertainty maintain the adrenaline.
This happens only to people who have no faith and have not yet found the path towards their souls. They run like mad after chimeras and ordinary dreams. They cannot dream of divinity or of an ideal beyond their familiar world.
They believe their dreams of greatness and wealth will bring tranquillity and peace. Those things may bring temporary calm, but they do not quieten the soul.
The soul needs another kind of "food". Ordinary dreams cannot nourish it. Because the soul has divine origins, it cannot be satisfied with crumbs of bread.
Simple, ordinary love will not satisfy it either. This is why religion, the idea of God, unceasing prayer, nature, beauty and art bring happiness to the soul and draw it closer to its divine origin.
A conscious person chooses stability and respects what has been built over a long period. Everything else consists of destiny's temptations, testing the depth of their faith in what they experience.
For example, you love someone, but later the love is no longer passionate. You possess stability, understanding and respect, yet you become bored and wish to try something new. You encounter passion, but also callousness, cruel words and ignorance.
People believe love disappears when life becomes peaceful, that whatever they once felt no longer exists. Yet love never disappears from your heart. It merely adapts to what you are living.
You observe this during a crisis in your relationship or life. Only when dark clouds gather across the sky of your lived experience do you understand what you feel and how deeply you feel it.
This does not happen to those who possess faith, perceive divinity reflected within love and respect what they feel more than anything else in their lives.
They treat their feelings differently. Their inner rupture from the person they love has other causes; under no circumstances are they chasing something transient.
Life gives you peace, love and respect, but you become bored and demand something else. What do you believe life will offer in return? Will it give you what you possessed before? Certainly not.
It will give you as much suffering as is necessary for you to learn from your mistakes. If you do not learn, the suffering will never end.
Life is short. Stop wasting time in pursuit of material fulfilment and transient passions. Do not wait for time to solve your problems.
Do not wait for God to choose for you, because He will not. He will help, but He will not make your decisions.
He will rejoice and offer every support when you choose love and respect peace. But He will place you upon the waiting list when you reject the beautiful and stable love you were given.
What you feel, or once felt, was given to you. Do not renounce what you feel. Do not renounce the god within. Renounce only what lies outside, while respecting and giving yourself to what happens within.
