3 minute read

If a person's inner world is reflected outside, there is no other path than through the eyes.

This is the easiest way to discover a human soul, and very few people can show through their eyes a face of the soul different from the real one.

There is also said to be a third, inward eye. Yet as long as it is not tangible and cannot be known by everyone, there is little purpose in discussing it here.

When you love truly and consciously, you look into the beloved's eyes as you would look at a flower or a landscape that takes away your breath.

Only a few minutes are needed for two souls to meet directly. Such looking can equal many years spent together, or dozens of orgasms. It is pure. To look directly upon the beloved's soul and meet it is divine.

In this kind of contact, thought cannot interfere through its actions and mechanisms.

People say that every person is beautiful and possesses a unique character. I believe this can be demonstrated and tested most simply through the eyes.

A single look may give birth to mad love, extraordinary passion or an entire succession of suffering.

If you truly look but the person you love does not look at you in the same way, if they are neither conscious nor attentive with the soul and appear to stare into emptiness, the magic occurs on only one side. This usually does not lead towards the fulfilment and mutual knowledge of souls.

Looking into the eyes is to souls what intimacy is to people who love each other. When you look into the beloved's eyes, you become conscious and begin to perceive their soul.

If looking into those eyes bores you, then you have introduced thought into a divine process.

The same thing happens when you look at a flower, a natural landscape or a work of art while thinking. The magic does not occur. You are no longer looking directly, but as though into a mirror. You see the image, yet do not perceive it directly. It remains a reflection rather than the image itself.

If you want a dimension of lived experience beyond the limits of thought, look into the beloved's eyes while making love.

To perceive the beloved's soul quickly, you must look with love. Feel the lived experience within the heart and remain conscious of its existence.

Lived experience is the generator that keeps love awake within your souls throughout your lives. Without lived experience and awareness of its existence, you are like someone drinking tea from an empty cup. The heart is the "instrument" through which lived experience manifests.

Many people complain that they have not encountered the passion of love, or that love does not remain present continuously or for long. Love is a fire. Without all the elements required to sustain it, that fire gradually dies. In time, people may even forget how it was lit and what created it.

Lived experience is the air every "fire" needs in order to burn, just as a human being needs air in order to exist.

When you truly love, do not forget to look into the beloved's eyes as often and as deeply as possible.

You will agree with me that sex is child's play beside the lived experience created by direct contact with the beloved's soul. I would say that this is how souls make love and give love to one another.

In this way, age no longer affects your lived experience on the physical plane. The eyes do not grow old and cannot be treated like the rest of the body, except when illness obstructs such perception.

If I could live my entire life beside the person I love, it would be divinity's greatest gift to my existence.

And yes... I miss the eyes - the "soul" - that my heart placed upon the altar of love.
