What Is TRUTH?

Some time ago, while I was speaking about Truth, someone asked me: 'But what is Truth?'

You can speak endlessly about Truth, just as you can about Love, because it is everything that exists and everything that does not exist.

Truth is... and that is all.

There is nothing more to say about this term used by every religion as a principal element in the search for the soul's evolution.

Truth must actually be lived in order to be understood, because it cannot be described. By living love, you can understand what truth means, or at least begin upon the path towards understanding it.

Many questions appear in thought, and many answers are attempted along this path. Yet to understand truth, thought must cease to exist. You must be born again. Only in this way can you do it, by completely removing the person created by society, which is to say the thinking that represents you. The prayer of the heart is therefore the first step upon this path of understanding and living Truth. Love is the second, and conscious breathing the last. Conscious breathing is a balancing element, cooling and preserving the peace of both soul and body.

But why should we want the soul's liberation? Why should we want so intensely to know and live Truth? We do not need to desire anything. In fact, we do not need to do anything at all, but we must at least try.

Truth reveals itself. However much we search for it, we would not find it, but at least we would be upon the path. We would wish to know Truth, or to live it, because we are 'slaves' in this life, playing or living by imposed rules. However much we believe ourselves free, we are not, though we can be free, at least within. This is how we are made in the image and likeness of God, because matter is made of energy and they cannot truly be separated. Yet what sustains both energy and matter lies beyond them. This is why I say that this divine essence is also found within us.

You still have time to awaken in this life, rather than wait through unlimited other lives to understand and live TRUTH. Take the first step upon this path, not because thought desires it, but because it brings happiness to your soul and, implicitly, to your life.
