Words conceal an unseen energy within their shell, but its effect emerges when they are spoken.
Our world contains all kinds of fields that surround us and invisibly alter or transform our inner world. Yet the most important field of all is undoubtedly the field of thought.
Thoughts come to life in the outer world through words, so we might say that words are merely the shell of thought. The fact that thoughts remain unspoken does not mean they cannot possess the same power as words. Their effect, however, is not perceived directly. It remains unseen.
Repeating a word endlessly appears to be madness, and so it is when the word lacks sense and meaning, or when the repetition contains no lived experience. Unless the soul identifies with a word as it would with the person concerned in real life, words will possess no power. The same is true of thoughts.
These techniques are actually used only for mystical purposes, something that, for example, no one tells believers. There is no desire for the world to become free and possess this power, because otherwise many things within our destiny would change.
There is also a risk that this power could be used to cause harm, making it a double-edged sword. In any case, it does not happen so easily that we can believe this path has solved everything or will grant us some extraordinary advantage.
It requires great concentration, and sometimes it will never happen at all, because unwritten laws and forces exist that cannot be moved by our thoughts. This concerns destiny, but that is a subject for another time, when the moment is right.
Sometimes even simple repetition can benefit our lives. For example, if we repeat each day that we are healthy and full of energy, it may become our actual state.
It is like posting a Facebook status to inform everything around you of your state of mind. In this way, the message enters not only your body but your surroundings and everything that comes into contact with you.
It resembles Chinese water torture, in which, it is said and has been demonstrated, a drop of water falling regularly with the same intensity upon a stone will make a hole. The greater the intensity, the faster and more powerful the effect.
Eastern religions have explained and practised this since their beginnings, whereas in Christianity it is permitted only to those who have passed a particular stage of faith and undergone many tests. It is called hesychasm. It is rarely discovered or practised by people who do not have access to these teachings.
The Prayer of the Heart, in which the same prayer is repeated continually, will lead to the liberation of the soul. This is not something said merely for the sake of saying it, but a truth lived and confirmed over time.
It must simply be repeated with lived experience and with love. The truth will then reveal itself or, at the very least, you will feel the power of prayer and its benefits.
I am one example. Considering the many blows I have received, I should have disappeared from the earth long ago, but the inner strength sustained by prayer endured and continues to endure...
So pray continually, not because you are told to or because you are required to, but in order to test the truth of what has been said.
But what is TRUTH?
