4 minute read

The impossible has always fascinated me: whatever cannot be accepted because everything stands against that achievement or idea.

Each person's destiny seems written in large letters across this life, while so-called free choice appears in small, stunted letters, scarcely a handspan high because of our selfishness and refusal to accept responsibility.

I have wondered why karma, cause and effect should exist when all of us are asleep. If our souls have not awakened, how can we be responsible for our actions?

But would this mean that someone who falls asleep at the wheel, or drinks until they lose awareness and then commits an inevitable error, bears no responsibility for what they have done?

Once you have received knowledge that could help you awaken, you are more responsible than someone who did not receive it. If life gave you an opportunity to awaken, if you gained access to knowledge that was not given to others, you may suffer still more because you had already been warned of the dangers.

Everything was offered for the awakening of your soul and so that you might suffer less in the future.

I have fallen asleep many times, but each time I received such slaps that I awoke suddenly. With every awakening, I became more alert. I hope this is the final time I must awaken and that I will never again fall asleep, even for a moment.

I fell asleep whenever I chose the path followed by the majority. It seems that was not my direction, because every time, the slaps matched the mistake.

I may run as far as I can from whatever defines me. I am, after all, a normal person, and I even wished to remain unconscious. Yet when I first awakened, I knew there was no escape. I would be responsible for every choice I made.

I have always chosen the lived experience of love before every other path or thing. Many called that fulfilment. In truth, it is the road of the most difficult trials.

Fulfilment can be discussed only as the fulfilment of destiny. Yet because we cannot know destiny until after it has happened, we can speak only about free choice, which resembles a true story.

You reach a moment in which you make a decision that marks both your life and the lives of those around you. In doing so, you close a true story founded upon a particular part of your life, in which each person plays the role allotted to them.

The entire story may not end in that moment, but at least that chapter is completed.

It is said that all of us possess an inevitable destiny that follows us throughout life. It is also said that destiny unfolds according to our choices, rewriting itself after each one.

Logically, you cannot return and choose again. You must therefore choose carefully, because there is no second chance.

Accepting God's existence within our lives, together with Divine Love and the rules it brings, guarantees that our choice will follow the path that is right for the soul. In this way, we accept our divine origin and the responsibility that accompanies this understanding.

All of us are therefore responsible for what is now happening to the earth and to our lives. We may blame divinity, pollution or anything else we wish, but in the end we harvest what we sowed.

We have sown very little love within our lives and will therefore eventually receive only suffering. We do not give the soul what it needs in order to awaken, so we repeatedly choose what is wrong rather than what would serve our destiny.

Even if reincarnation exists, we cannot live precisely the same life twice. We must still choose what is good and eternal rather than what is transient and filthy.

Live your life, but live it in prayer and faith. Do whatever you wish, but remain filled with love and with awareness of God's existence.

You cannot be free until you truly die. At least when death comes, do not be asleep. Remain conscious of what is happening. Death may arrive at any moment, so you must always be alert and aware.

I have lived, and continue to live, a true story. The ending of its present chapter has been delayed for a long time because I did not, and do not, want this beautiful dream to end. Yet the decision does not belong to me alone.

Hope prolonged the agony of this dream, which may have given me the most beautiful lived experiences, although its epilogue contained situations encountered otherwise only in films.

The future will probably create a new beginning, or perhaps a long succession of periods of waiting and hopes. For a new beginning to occur, however, the action generated by free choice must take place in one direction or the other.

Everything acts towards the choice of the next moment, which has in some way already been foreseen. Yet a moment can be foreseen only when you are changeable and do not know what you want from life.

I do not want destiny to defeat me unless I no longer exist upon this earth. Only then could I be defeated.

For me, the impossible does not exist. There is only the absence of faith. If we possessed faith the size of a mustard seed, nothing would stand in the way of our happiness.

Our only weapon against destiny is renunciation. The moment you no longer desire a particular destiny, you renounce what it offers at that moment according to earlier causes and effects.

Perhaps even that was written. Yet when you are conscious, you at least possess the pleasure of continuing to choose for yourself rather than merely accepting what is given.

Everything is therefore possible. Imagination has no limits.
