Breathe Love into Your Life

To be conscious of the existence of divine love, and therefore of the existence of God, in everything that exists is as vital to our lives as breathing. The human microcosm is a small-scale representation of the macrocosm. This is why 'Know yourself!' has an application within our destiny.

Prayer and inner experience are the elements that keep us connected with our interior and awaken the soul, freeing it from the slavery of thought. It is a kind of Matrix at the level of fable and fantasy, connected with human creation. This is why those who free themselves perceive existence differently from those of us who sleep through it. Awakening begins when you become an observer and are conscious of everything happening both inwardly and outwardly. You then perceive within yourself the shockwave produced by the actions of others or by destiny, but because you are awake you will not act unconsciously and will thereby soften both causes and effects. Love whose source you can see will serve as a shield against the blows that try to bring down your soul, because the fiercest struggle is in fact between thought and the soul. Thought is the ground upon which the 'devil' can act and influence our decisions and destiny. Many times in our lives we have encountered thoughts that seemed not to belong to us, that did not define our character, convictions or faith, and that led towards disaster and unhappiness because we identified with our thinking. Yet we are not our thinking. We are not the name given at birth. We are not the body or the existence perceived by thought...

Practices of meditation, inner prayer, love to which we attribute a divine origin rather than treating it as ordinary and unimportant, and a state of continual awareness all contribute to freeing and discovering the soul. In this way they remove the persistent emptiness we perceive within while searching to understand the essence and purpose of our existence.

The actions and suffering within our destiny direct us towards this: the awakening of the soul and its liberation from the slavery of thought.

This article concludes the long series of pieces I have been adding for some time. The last few were written well before the dates on which I posted them. The final article, which in practice defines my destiny, 'Fulfilment or the End of the Story...', will appear at the right time...
