Destiny… or Free Choice…

Since the earliest times, people have regarded destiny as something that cannot be changed, a mystery belonging to divinity.

Many others have believed and fought to prove that destiny can be changed, that free choice exists and was given by divinity precisely to liberate the soul. Even Jesus said that a person is free to choose their destiny: one filled with sin or one as pure as a tear.

But I am trying to say only what I feel, and what I feel is this: there is no escape from destiny. At most, you can deceive yourself, but it will continue with you or without you. You make yourself important by believing you can do something about it.

You believe that, by fighting and succeeding in life, you have achieved prosperity or a position through your own strength and astonishing intelligence. I do not believe that. It was a gift, a road written for you long before you were born. God gave you a beautiful destiny and, because you were made to fight and succeed, you identify so completely with your existence that you are blind to the puppeteer behind it all.

When destiny strikes, you realise that you were merely carrying out the course of life. Some very fortunate people will never be struck by destiny, because they would learn nothing even if it happened. This is why I say: rejoice when destiny strikes you. The harder it strikes, the better it may be for your soul, because there is still hope that you will awaken and follow the soul rather than thought.

Humanity admires presidents, celebrities, artists, geniuses and even those who have caused the greatest destruction. Yet it does not see the true worth of an unknown person, a nobody, or of people who lived their entire lives as nobodies but remained in humanity's memory across millennia and will remain even when the earth no longer exists. These are the people who should be followed, not the illusions represented by those considered successful.

Those who remained in our memory succeeded because they liberated their souls and defeated destiny. Yet they represent only one part of this truth. The other part consists of those who remained unknown but also liberated themselves, then finally understood that even what they had achieved was merely a road that never ends. This is why they no longer tried to contribute to humanity's so-called evolution.

After two thousand years, we still believe in beautiful stories, in creations of the human mind intended to help our evolution, or so it is believed. Jesus was a human being like us, but he was born conscious of his origin, while we must struggle to discover ours, sometimes by learning and loving our own religion or another. Yet anyone who believes in Jesus will always come to understand the power of love.

There is an immense difference between being born conscious of your divinity and living whole lives in blindness. So you still have a chance...

Stop dreaming. Wake from the dream and begin to see the truth hidden in the shadows, not the truth described to you.

Do you believe Jesus was happy when he saw how much evil would be committed in his name? How many people would suffer because they did not believe in him? How many would be burned at the stake because their ideas did not correspond with the accepted vision of him? That all this evil would be committed by people who did not truly believe in him anyway? That he would be turned into a machine for making money from the liberation of the soul?

Yes... Jesus was... but nothing remained the same after he left the earth. Considering how deeply he loved his fellow human beings, I believe what happened to him was little compared with what he must have felt when he saw the future.

And we continue to limit the so-called power of God. You are content because you do not have to investigate or suffer in order to discover the Truth. You accept what others tell you, and that is more than enough for you.

I know... it appears to be a situation without an escape. It seems that nothing can be done to help the soul, that life will be torment or happiness according to the luck of the draw...

But... I return once more and say that only LOVE can still save you. It is a reality within your reach, following you everywhere in life.

How can a "simple love" save both you and the soul? It cannot, as long as you do not understand its existence, as long as you do not begin searching for it and bringing it into realisation, as long as you do not accept that it exists and place it above yourself and your thinking.

In the past, infinite and absolute love was identified with the attainment of those who withdrew into hermitage, became monks or became saints. Humanity has since evolved, not in the soul, but in thought and in the capacity to analyse. Most people can now think abstractly and understand matters that were once placed under the heading of "mysticism".

Today, however, simple human love can help you see the divine within existence, feel it inside you and understand the kingdom awaiting you, which was proclaimed thousands of years ago.

If you have been blessed with someone who already loves you, and whom you love in return, love more intensely. Begin to realise that it is more than a simple love. Carry this lived experience with you wherever you go and whatever you think. If both of you follow the same path, then I myself envy you, because destiny has truly given you something even the saints of old did not have and never will.

I will try to explain why you should be happy for this simple love and why you should raise it to a level that religion does not yet reveal.

In religion, all love is directed with devotion towards a symbol, an identification with divine existence, without thoughts interfering and distorting its quality. This is precisely what the Prayer of the Heart does. It is a kind of "washing of the mind" in which everything is centred upon a single point. We might say that it cleanses mind and body of negative thoughts and becomes a very effective defence along the way.

This cannot genuinely be achieved without the lived experience of love, which must possess a quality far beyond ordinary thought. It is easier when love has a representative of divine origin, above human thought.

This is why I say that, by attributing divine quality to your love, you will understand why you have been blessed. It is far easier to surrender to the experience of divine love by understanding its reflection in ordinary love than to spend entire lives trying to understand or feel love towards divine objects or persons.

The divine is happening to you now, or has already happened. Stop waiting and searching. Simply become conscious of it, and your life will change.

Many will ask what happens when you love but are no longer loved, or when you are loved but no longer feel anything. It is normal for this to happen. These are only steps that help you understand the existence of love itself more clearly.

If you do not feel love towards nature, does that mean nature no longer exists? It exists, but your perception has changed. This happens because you placed other things above love and failed to see what love reflects.

Thank love for giving you a period of happiness, then continue along your destiny without thinking or acting against the lived experience of love. Try not to lose that lived experience. Stop identifying what you live with the image that awakened this lived experience, especially when that image did not, or does not, respect love.

In the end, understand that it is still an ordinary love in which divine love is reflected - nothing more and nothing less. It is a role you play in this life.

If you met someone who truly loved you above everything, someone you loved in return, but at some point the lived experience within you ceased, then something caused that lived experience to fade. Most often, the desire for achievement blinds us to the lived experience of love.

Likewise, if the person you love treats you as a puzzle to be played with, harming both of you, then let that person go, but do not abandon the lived experience of love. I keep saying: hold this love inside you and nothing will make you unhappy. Your thinking will be unhappy, but your heart will not. Think of the other being whom you love, or who loved you, as a spiritual teacher.

Free choice appears at moments of crisis, when the lived experience of love and achievement in life are placed on opposite sides of the scales.

If you believe the person you love, or once loved, is unworthy of you, or that you will not be happy with them, then move forward. But if you were happy with that person, if you felt they were everything you wanted in life, yet the life and destiny you desire will not allow you to remain together, never place love on the scales.

Remember only that life places its greatest obstacles in the path of a beautiful and fulfilled love, never in the path of a passing love. Life wants you to depend upon destiny. It does not want you to be free.

Dependence upon thought and the material plane is the only thing that keeps you bound and your soul imprisoned. Allow the soul to fly towards fulfilment, towards what makes it happy. Do not keep it confined.

The soul is happy when it loves, when it lives what gave birth to it. Allow thought to experiment with whatever it desires, but do not renounce the lived experience of love. Understand the difference between testing and living. Test everything you wish, but do not test love.

Love happens to you. It cannot be summoned or produced on demand. You can achieve other things by desiring them and fighting for them, but love cannot be achieved on demand or through struggle.

Love is a gift from God to us, ordinary human beings, because only in this way do we taste the divine nectar. When you reach a moment in life when you must choose, choose the "blood of God" - LOVE.
