To evolve and spread worldwide as nowadays for humans, it took hundreds of thousands of years.
And only a few centuries to eliminate other species, destroy the environment and use most of our planet’s resources.
Looking around, it takes no brain to see that we are like a virus for nature and existence itself.
While looking around in awe of the grandeur and beauty of nature comes to my mind, the agent Smith’s words from Matrix movie related to human life, acting like a virus to the environment. These words are closer to our current reality for more than twenty years ago when the movie was released.
Agent Smith:
“I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species, and I realised that humans are not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. Instead, you multiply and multiply until every resource is consumed. The only way for you to survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern… a virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer on this planet, you are a plague, and we… are the cure.“
Indeed we evolved so much and took over, destroyed and killed everything that was a danger or hindrance and didn’t make use for our needs.
Well, we evolved more in numbers and technology than spiritually. That’s the problem.
It’s not a balance between mind and soul for most of us. Only a few, but not enough to make a change on a big scale for our souls’ evolution.
We think that nothing else deserves or must be first before ourselves.
Better sacrifice everything around us than our way of life.
Even so, nature and animals don’t fight with us after so much suffering over and over.
Love and happiness surround us in the middle of nature, no matter the damage and pain provoked by our existence and needs.
Nature is not only the heart of our planet but to the whole universe.
Without nature, life and evolution never the same or even possible.
The issue is that we acknowledge this only after it’s gone.
Some would argue that technology destroyed nature, but it became necessary due to the growing numbers of human beings.
Even religions are blind to the fact that nature can’t sustain too many of us.
The biblical mandate “be fruitful and multiply” was sustainable thousands of years ago, but nowadays it isn’t anymore.
At least not if we don’t find other planets to live or different social vision methods than the present reality.
In Judaism, Christianity, and some other Abrahamic religions, the cultural mandate is the divine injunction found in Genesis1:28, in which God, after having created the world and all in it, ascribes to humankind the tasks of filling, subduing, and ruling over the earth. The cultural mandate includes the sentence “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth.” The cultural mandate was given to Adam and Eve.

We lost the connection with our inner Self long time ago.
Luckily enough, human love is safe and sound, but who knows for how long if we don’t open the gates of wisdom to accept that the divinity of love exists in our hearts and everywhere around us.
