Some time ago I thought that what I had written and revealed possessed a beauty and simplicity rare among us human beings, yet it was also dangerous in the hands of those who feel nothing and, instead of releasing its experience, imprison it even more tightly as they try to extinguish the fire within.
When you feel your heart burning, pray even more intensely. Then you have the greatest chance to burn away the most impure thing within you: thought. This is the meaning of the warmth in the heart that appears through the prayer of the heart, and which also appears in sincere love between two people. When you truly love, you are in fact in a state of prayer without even realising it. This is why you can make grave mistakes, because you do not understand how valuable what you feel is to your soul and your life. When you truly love, your heart burns. It burns away what is impure within you, the thoughts and coverings created over time. It is like a purification of the body, preparing it to become a temple worthy of the soul. Blessed is the person who loves, but even more blessed is the one who surrenders completely to the lived experience of love, because that person places their life in love's hands and slowly ceases to exist as a separate person. The one who loves can be ruined in a moment by loving the wrong person. This is why some people cannot withstand the pressure of such an experience and choose to close the gate of life. But those devoted to the lived experience of love are not allowed to die even if they wish to. On the contrary, they are directed towards still greater experience until the heart melts completely. The fire in their hearts will become so great that everyone nearby will melt in its warmth. They will release an invisible fragrance that changes everyone who encounters them and brings peace and happiness to the soul. People will not know why they feel so light and happy in their presence, but their souls will feel that happiness and, without knowing why, will repeatedly seek warmth at the torch of that soul. This is why the thought and destiny of all those who remained near Jesus, Buddha, saints, masters and enlightened beings changed and turned towards the liberation of their souls from the slavery of existence.
When you encounter such a soul in your life, melt your thinking in its presence and you will see and feel the divinity of love everywhere in existence. Your inner world will truly become a temple dedicated to love, and all of this will happen simply by remaining there and giving yourself to the lived experience of love. The more fiercely your heart burns, the more of your selfishness and impure thought will melt, releasing your soul into the hands of love as lived experience.
The soul is happy only when living love. Nothing else upon Earth will make it happier. Love is food for the soul, and without even a little love the soul becomes like a withered tree. This is why, when love appears, a person's soul becomes more visible and reveals its uniqueness and inner beauty. Release the soul and life will no longer be an ordeal, but a stage upon which the greatest artist in existence will perform.
